Maine Can't Hold On After one day of rain-soaked Tri-State play at Waterville Country Club, Maine posted a ten-point lead over Vermont with New Hampshire trailing by another five points. On the second day of competition, Maine fought valiantly in their individual matches to hold on to the lead. But Vermont came on strong and managed to edge out Maine by two points. The final point totals: Vermont 141, Maine 139, New Hampshire 125. Next year's Tri-State event will be held at Green Mountain National in Killington, VT. Team members for 2010:
